The long term contacts of Mr. Emil Dantchev with mr. David Samushia -excecutive director of FC VIT Georgia, one of the leading football clubs in Georgia is developing in mutual interest.
   The captain of FC VIT Georgia – Alexander Kvahadze, born 1984 drew the attention of European clubs with his performances with the Georgean national football team for the World qualifications.He replaced successfully the injured central defender ,player of FC Milan Kakha Kaladze, during the match Georgia – Bulgaria.
   Other Georgian football player Otar Martsvaladze from FC Dinamo- Kiev, born 1984 is also under observation from our Agency. His performances will be closely monitorred during the football match between Romania and Georgia , which is going to take place in Bucurest on 19 november 2008.

   We have nominated Tottenham Hotspurs player Dimitar Berbatov for Sporting Goodwill Ambassador to the UK.
   This is a part of our ongoing communication strategy to promote Bulgaria in light of its accession to the EU in January 2007. Dimitar will participate in a variety of events aimed at raising public awareness about Bulgaria in the UK and strengthening cultural and sporting links between our two countries.

1. Today,January 06 2006, was continued for two years the contract of the CSKA captain Emil Gargorov.

2. The football player Gerasim Zakov will take part in the training camp of the team from the II Bundesliga "Sportfreunde SIEGEN" in Portugal. He travels on January 08 2006 and will play in two friendly matches versus local teams.
